About

The stream starts in the fields and orchards east of Mevo Hama, near the Golan Trail, and small springs rise in the central channel. About five hundred and fifty metres from its head is a short, low limestone gorge with a few cascades of two to five metres, which the book says are passable. Then a small spring, and about two hundred and thirty metres after it a pair of falls in a bed blocked by vegetation, which the book says is impassable. Below them the stream runs between steep banks with animal paths, opens into a real canyon, and a gully joins from the north.

About one thousand six hundred metres after the junction comes a short series of three falls: fall A, sixteen metres, vertical crumbling basalt; fall B, eighteen metres, right after it; and fall C, twenty-four metres, in limestone, with an exposed head on smooth rock. About a hundred metres after it the stream reaches the system fence and passes under it, and beyond the fence it joins Nahal Meitzar above the Yarmuk canyon.
