Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 25 October 2026

1. Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use canyoning.co.il, including people with disabilities. We follow the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013. Our target is Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.

2. What we did

  • Hebrew right to left and English left to right, with the correct language set on every page.
  • A "skip to content" link at the top of every page.
  • A clear page structure: headings, a table of contents on each site page, and named navigation menus.
  • Alternative text for photos, based on their captions.
  • The descent profile drawing is an image, and its data also appears in a text table of drops and rappels.
  • The list of sites is a text alternative to the map.
  • The "reduce motion" setting on your device is respected.
  • A label for every form field, and error messages in text.
  • A layout that works on phone, tablet and desktop, and supports text zoom in the browser.

3. What is not accessible yet, and what we are doing

  • Maps: the maps are not fully usable with a keyboard or a screen reader. The key information (address, parking and meeting point, coordinates, list of sites) also appears as text.
  • The Turnstile anti-spam check usually passes with no action, but sometimes shows a challenge. If it blocks you, send us the report or photo by email.
  • The YouTube player comes from YouTube, and we don't control its accessibility.
  • Some photos have generic alternative text.
  • We have not yet done a full colour contrast check or an expert accessibility audit. The last check was our own internal review, on 25 October 2026.

5. How to report a problem

Tell us what you tried to do, on which page, what happened, and which device, browser or assistive technology you used.

6. In-person service

We have no office open to the public. The whole service is online.
